Descendants of Richard Carter, England, County of Kent, who came to this country (near Philadelphia) before the Revolution and who served several enlistments in the Revolutionary War, first enlisting on May 1, 1775. Married Catherine, Loudon Co, Virginia
The children of Richard and Catherine are William, George, Thomas, Joseph, Richard, Mary, John, Mahalia, Charles and Samuel. These descendants primarily moved to Ohio, with 2 descendants staying in Virginia and one moving to Tennessee.
The children of Thomas and Sarah are Charles, Catherine and Fenton Mercer.
This work primarily covers the descendants of Dr. Fenton Mercer Carter (son of Thomas Carter, mentioned above, and Sarah Pyott Carter, who came to Ohio in 1820) and Sara Margaret Harper Carter.
The children (13) of Dr. Fenton Mercer Carter and Sara Margaret Harper Carter are Thomas Benton, Mordecai Harper, James Pyott, Joseph Calhoun, Hiram Wellington, Mary Elisabeth, Alexander Belding, Sara Margaret, Armstead Maywood, Fenton Mercer, Stephen Douglas, Alzira Adelia and Benjamin Franklin.

Because I am generally selling quite old items, I prefer to ship Priority Mail in order to reduce the time fragile items are in the post. Whenever I am able to safely ship using a less expensive option I will do so.

Depending on the price of the item, I may or may not insure it through the carrier.
