I completed this wonderful 12" fashion hat shop in October of 2009. I asked Amy Erickson (a fabulous costumer designer with whom I've worked since 1979 and who has designed many, many costume patterns for me over the years) to make patterns for the 8 darling hats included and now they are done too. Also included are many fabulous graphics from my antique paper collection all designed and reproduced for you to create a wonderful French style "Maison de Chapeaux" suitable for lady dolls 12" tall.
My hat shop is 28" long by 18" high by 12-1/2" deep.
It has complete instructions and all requirements included to finish the project and step by step procedure. This project works with both reproduction and antique dolls! Some woodworking skills would be very helpful in creating this reproduction.
Please note the photo of the actual antique shop that was my inspiration.
NOTE: All my workbooks and paper projects are printed on a commercial state of the art digital laser color printer on either 110 card stock or parchment paper.

A complete supply list and instructions on 16 pages with 66 color photographic illustrations.
Technique on how to create a French wax dipped mannequin head.
Other techniques explained include a stenciled floor, creating an anaglypta (embossed)wall paper, distress painting and antiquing.
How to create hat stands, hat boxes, a pedestal table, framed prints, and many small carded accessories like those that might be found in a French late 1800's hat shop with included graphics.
Also included are the graphics to create a circular fan, a flat fan on a wooden handle, cardstock fans and sachet packets.
There are 14 pages of graphics that employ over 240 images to create the products displayed in the shop.

117 color photo illustrations of every step in the making of all 8 hats.

Hat Box Set of 13 - .00 - These are undecorated ready for you to paint and apply the images in this project. They include various shapes and sizes like those used and shown.
Wooden Pedestal Table Kit - .00 - includes the wooden parts and instructions for assembly and painting. I show it displaying my French wax mannequin head, 2 Harper's Bazaar newspapers and other boxed accessories.
Hat Stand Kit - .00 - Includes all the parts needed to create 3 each of two different stands (for a total of 6) like those shown plus the base for the French wax mannequin head. This could also be used for an additional hat stand if you were not wanting to make a mannequin.
6 Ornate Frames and 2 Shelf Brackets plus 2 Wood Shelves Kit - .00 - These are all ready for you to spray paint in antique gold Design Master Floral spray, then use them to frame the included prints and hang on your shop walls.
Please note that this auction is for a flat packet of over 200 graphics, complete instructions, 8 hat patterns and color illustrations. All the three dimensional items are for you to provide using our kits or your own resources.
