    Mounting Holes on edge of lock 6 3/4" center to center, plate is 1" wide.

    To determine which handing you need:
    Standing on the outside of the door, If the hinges to the door are on the right, and the door swings inward into the room you need a RH.
    If the hinges to the door are on the left, and the door swings inward into the room you need a LH.
    If the door swings towards you, need a right or left hand reverse LHR, RHR and I don't have those available.
