    Description

This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1950s pattern to make doll clothes for your Dy Dee Baby Doll. In addition to Dy Dee, this pattern also fits a large variety of other baby dolls some of which include: Tiny Tears, Betsy Wetsy, Sweetie Pie, Baby Coos, Kathy, Toodles, etc. I have this pattern available in a variety of sizes, so please be sure that you are buying the right one. This auction is for the 11" tall doll.
This pattern makes a dress with matching bonnet and coat, sunsuit and slip. The dress is so dramatic with the gathers and ruffles accented by the lovely embroidery designs. I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. I have IMPROVED THE PATTERN by printing clean, clear, easy to read instructions. Please email me with any questions that you have.

The Dy Dee Doll was made starting in 1933 by the Effanbee company. Dy Dee was a hugely popular baby doll. Due to her popularity, patterns were made so that mothers and their daughters could make additional outfits for these darling dolls. The Dy Dee doll was made in four sizes: 11", 13", 15" and 20" and I have a large assortment of patterns available in each of these sizes.
This pattern was originally created October 6, 1935. The copyright for this pattern has expired and it entered the public domain Jan 1, 1964.
